About Us

Yam Skateboards is about designing and giving people cool looking skateboard graphics. I enjoy painting and working with my hands. That is why I do all the graphics by hand, and then scan them in. I have been skating for a long time and want to give back to skateboarding. I wish to share my talents with everyone and do something extraordinary with my time. To show that you can do anything you put your mind to as long as you believe.

The decks are northern Michigan maple, and are pressed at OK SK8 Distributions. Julio and his team do a great job and I couldn't be more thankful to be working with them. If you got his deck with my graphic, you couldn't be more ready to go skate.

This is a collaboration of work, effort, and ideas between my wife Andrea and myself Matt.
